If you have a nail fungus infection, you should know that the infection does more than just give you unhealthy toenails. The infection is a medical condition caused by a live, active fungus that grows and spreads by eating your skin and nails.
Just like any infection on your face or body, a nail fungus infection should be seen by your primary care physician, podiatrist, dermatologist or healthcare professional for a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
